Melissa and Navin’s rustic spring wedding at Riverside on the Potomac went off without a hitch! I had so much fun spending the day with these two awesome people and the weather/flow of the day couldn’t have been more perfect and stress-free. Their bridal party did a phenomenal job at staying on top of things and were so supportive of Melissa and Navin, Delia-Anne worked her magic on the day of, and Marquee Events kept the dance floor going all night (with some Bollywood thrown in there too — love!). Just wait until you see the beautiful florals that Flowers by Lisa created and how amazing the bride and groom looked. I am so excited to share a huge preview of their day with you all today, so let’s jump right in!
The details
Their Spring color palette was peach/blush, gold, ivory, greenery, and a bit of navy with the guy’s suits.
Melissa had a first look with her dad as well – always one of my favorite moments on a wedding day.

Their ceremony took place on the patio overlooking the pond. Lisa from Flowers by Lisa created a floral garland for the pergola which was also later used on the headtable in the barn reception space.

Towards the end of the night, Melissa and Navin surprised their guests with a taco truck as taco night is one of their favorite meal nights!
