jamie + scotty

When I pulled up to assist Carley Rehberg Photography for her wedding in Fredericksburg on Saturday, I was expecting some chaos because of the horrible storm Friday night. There was some flooding in the church and trees down at the reception location. What a way to start the weekend wedding festivities! The B&G didn’t let it get them down though; I was surprised to find that they were hanging in there just fine. I went to go shoot the guys while they were getting ready (and of course, the groom was already dressed and ready to go!) while Carley shot the girls. Congratulations to Jamie and Scotty! And a big thank you to Carley for allowing me to tag along for this wedding!

A huge tree had fallen in the backyard of Scotty’s brother’s house during the storm.

This group was quite hysterical. I have to say, I was rather entertained while taking their photos.

Please take note of the broom.

Carley’s couple did a first look – the B&G saw each other privately before the ceremony. This typically creates less stress and more portraits together with the extra daylight! All in all, a great idea!
